Studio 429 was established in 2006 as North County’s premier hip-hop only dance studio. We offer all levels and styles of hip-hop choreography taught by some of the most talented instructors in San Diego County. In addition to our classes, we have 5 competition dance teams. We are a training studio for hip-hop dance with all of our classes offered on a drop-in basis. Each week we teach something new in each class so you can join at any time. We welcome dancers of all ages and levels to come take classes at our studio. Everyone is welcome here and we love having new people come to take classes with us.

Dance cards are available and are valid for any of our regular classes. Cards are valid for a period of 3 months.

Auditions for Primary Source, Tru-Definition and Breakthrough are held annually in August. Our season for our junior teams including production, runs from mid September through the end of July. Teams are tuition based and required a minimum of 8 training classes per month and attendance of a minimum of 2 rehearsals per week. All of our dance teams compete and perform at various venues.
Studio Rental:
We do have certain days and times available for studio rental. Please contact Tammy Seiler @ tammy@studio429.com for information and pricing.
Facility:
We have one large dance floor (1,950 sf.). Our floor is “floated” so it has less impact on joints when dancing. The floor is 30’ wide by 65’ long so it is great for staging larger dance productions.
